For all those who want to know more about me …

I was born on 1 August 1963 in Bielefeld, Westfalia, Germany. Seven years later I had my first regular job. The employment contract lasted 13 years and ended with my A-levels in 1983. I felt flattered when straight afterwards the German State asked for my help. I was pleased to assist and did my community service.

Afterwards I decided to train in business administration, and more or less by chance I ended up in the offices of a local building society. Very quickly I found that this was not just a job but my vocation.

Shortly before I finished my training, I set up a property sales company (1986).   I then continued to do work for my training company as an independent salesman.

At the beginning of the 1990s I accepted an offer from a competitor and established a new business relationship which still exists today.

And, something not very important ... in 1993 I found time to marry my Martina !!!

In 1999   I started my own property development projects and had them built by my partner.

My, or should I say, our love of Greece started with a journey I made to Skiathos in 1983 after my A-levels. Then followed 10 trips to Crete,   3 further visits to Skiathos, Corfu, the Mani peninsula, Evia, Chalkidiki, the Pilion peninsula ... and then .. for the first time SAMOS.

After a fortnight on the island, on a beautiful evening in July, we asked the owner of our appartment: “ Is it possible to buy a house or a plot here?“

It was possible. Straightaway the next day he showed us 3 plots and a house in his home village (Ambelos). Just 2 days later we met the owner of one of the plots and we bought one!

Later planning, building applications and the start of the build followed.
